Turquoise and Coral Pendant in Sterling Silver
Turquoise and Coral Pendant in Sterling Silver
A teardrop-shaped turquoise in a soft blue color is paired with an organically shaped piece of red coral. Both set in sterling silver, they hang from a shiny, 18-inch sterling silver rolo chain. A classic combination, this pendant measures 1 3/8-inches from the top of the bail to the silver ball below the turquoise. It would look great on a simple white t-shirt and could be paired with other necklaces or beads or worn alone.
***Turquoise was one of the first gems to be mined. It gets its blue color from a combination of copper and aluminum. Turquoise is an alternate birthstone for December. Associated with the throat chakra, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures.***
***Red coral has been used decoratively and in jewelry for thousands of years. It symbolizes the life force and blood and circulatory system, and is believed to be a protective stone. It is associated with the root chakra.***
