A deep, purple-blue tanzanite is set in an 18k gold bezel with silver bars and 18k gold balls on either side of the stone. The remainder of the ring, including the heavy band, is sterling silver. This round cabochon stone measures 12 mm and is so pretty! It's a rich purple-blue color with a soft glow from within.

***Tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, thus the name. It activates the third-eye chakra and is believed to create a link between the heart and the mind. It is thought to help one feel more compassionate, loving and centered. Tanzanite is one of the birthstones for December.***
