This is such a fun, unusual stone! A star rutilated quartz stone is set in an 18k gold bezel, atop a wide sterling silver band. A star rutilated quartz is clear quartz with rutile and hematite inclusions. The golden rutile needles emanate from the hematite in a star pattern. This interesting stone has been cut into a cushion shape that measures 16.5 x 18 mm. The golden rutile looks so pretty in the yellow gold. A one of a kind ring!
