I was so excited to find some of these gorgeous stones in Tucson this year! The color is amazing and the numerous, tiny micro-facets give it such a pretty sparkle.

This one is slightly more petite than many of my rings - the stone measures 8 x 11.5 mm. A sparkly, deep-rose pink ruby is set in an 18k yellow gold bezel and accented with 18k gold balls on either side. The remainder of the ring, including the heavy 4 mm wide band, is sterling silver.

Ruby is associated with the root chakra and is thought to energize and activate the physical as well as the mental and emotional bodies. It has long been considered a stone of courage. Ruby is the birthstone for July.***

Currently a size 7, I'll be happy to size this ring up or down to fit. :O)
