Rose Cut Garnet and Citrine Pendant in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
Rose Cut Garnet and Citrine Pendant in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
A bright, sparkly, rose cut garnet is set in 18k gold with a sterling backing. Hanging next to the garnet is a pear shaped, golden citrine; also in 18k gold. This large garnet measures 15 x 20 mm, and measures 29 mm from the top of the 18k gold bail to the bottom of the stone. Both stones hang from a 20-inch oxidized sterling chain.
***Garnet is the birthstone for January. It is a stone of purity and truth as well as a symbol of love and compassion. Garnets are thought by some to bring prosperity and to stimulate success in business. They are found all over the world, with the largest supply currently coming from Africa.***
***Citrine is a variety of quartz. Its yellow to golden color is due to small amounts of iron, although most citrine used today has been heat-treated to achieve the color. Citrine is associated with the navel chakra and is said to open the mind to new thoughts, as well as promote clarity of thought.***
