A large, rectangular cut petrified palm wood stone is set in an 18k gold bezel, atop a wide sterling silver band. In unique shades of rich rust, terra cotta and subtle mustard gold, this stone has a bright earthiness to it. This natural stone measures 17 x 20 mm and makes a bold statement.

***The spots in petrified palm wood are the result of a cross-section of the rod-like structures in the grain of the wood. The wood has been replaced by by microcrystalline quartz, or chalcedony and as a result, is very hard and takes a great polish. Known as the stone of patience, palm wood is said to remove petty annoyances as well as help connect the wearer to earth and nature.***
