A bright orange chalcedony is set in an 18k gold bezel with a narrow, but heavy sterling silver band. There are delicate 18k gold balls on either side of the stone. This stone measures 10 mm and with a narrower band than my usual style of rings, but still as solid, this ring has a slightly more delicate look. Perfect for those that don't love chunky rings.

In jewelry, chalcedony usually refers to the purple-blue color, but chalcedony also includes agate, bloodstone, carnelian, chrysoprase, and two of my favorites: petrified dinosaur bone and petrified wood!
