A pretty piece of Golden Hills lavender turquoise is set in an 18k gold bezel atop a wide sterling silver band. This unusually colored turquoise stone measures 11 x 15 mm with a nice, medium dome.

***Golden Hills lavender turquoise is from the Altyn Tyube mine in Kazakhstan and was found in 2013. An unusual color for turquoise, it has an almost periwinkle blue hue with a reddish-brown matrix. No other turquoise looks quite like this. One of the birthstones for December, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures.***
