Iranian Turquoise with Pyrite Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
Iranian Turquoise with Pyrite Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
A unique piece of Iranian turquoise with lots of pyrite is set in an 18k gold bezel atop a sterling silver band. A lovely pear shape, this stone measures 10 x 14 mm and I've set this stone horizontally on the finger. With a narrower band than my usual style of rings, but still as solid, this ring has a slightly more delicate look. Perfect for those that don't love chunky rings.
***Turquoise was one of the first gems to be mined. It gets its blue color from a combination of copper and aluminum. Turquoise is an alternate birthstone for December. Associated with the throat chakra, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures.***
***Pyrite is found all over the world. It's name comes from the Greek word for fire because when two pieces are struck together, they will produce sparks. It is also known by the nickname "fool's gold" because of its shiny yellow color. Pyrite is thought to bring luck, wealth and success as well as enhance power and build confidence. It is associated with the third chakra.***
Currently a size 7, I'll be happy to size this ring up or down to fit. :O)
Made with love in my Sonoran Desert studio. xo
