This is such a natural, earthy-looking stone. It reminds me of dark bone or ivory, but it is neither. It is alunite mined in Nevada. I picked it up a couple of years ago at a small rock shop while on a road trip through Tonopah, NV. This bold stone measures 19 x 22 mm and is set in an 18k gold bezel, atop a comfortable, wide sterling band. I find this stone so soothing to stare at.
