A chunky, high dome blue chalcedony is set in an 18k gold bezel with a wide sterling silver band. This pastel periwinkle stone measures 13 x 18 mm and has been cut into a soft cushion shape. Floating throughout the stone are small white spots that look like subtle clouds. Definitely a one of a kind stone!

In jewelry, chalcedony usually refers to the purple-blue color of the stone in this ring, but chalcedony also includes agate, bloodstone, carnelian, chrysoprase, and two of my favorites: petrified dinosaur bone and petrified wood!
