This is the brightest, gemmy little pendant! An 8.5 x 14.5 mm, pear shaped chrysoprase is set in an 18k gold bezel with 18k bail and ball below the stone, and sterling silver backing. It hangs from an 18-inch oxidized sterling chain. The pendant measures just under 1-inch from the top of the bail to the gold ball below the stone. Such a fun color, this pendant looks pretty worn on its own, or layered with your other favorite necklaces and beads. If you'd prefer a different chain, just let me know.

***Chrysoprase is usually a vibrant, apple green and gets its color from a small amount of nickel. Currently, the best stones come from Queensland, Australia. Some believe chrysoprase helps make conscious what is unconscious and can help to clarify problems. It is also said to speed the healing of wounds.***
