Carnelian and Lepidolite in Quartz Cuff in Sterling Silver and 18k Gold, Heavier Style
Carnelian and Lepidolite in Quartz Cuff in Sterling Silver and 18k Gold, Heavier Style
This is such a wonderful, wearable style of bracelet. I wear at least one, almost everyday, right next to my watch. :O)
This one is made from a solid, work hardened sterling wire and holds a glowing carnelian and a rose cut lepidolite in quartz in heavy silver bezels. There is a solid 18k gold ball soldered next to each stone. The simplicity of this bracelet looks great on its own or stacked with other bracelets from your collection.
This particular bracelet is made for an average size wrist and is a bit adjustable. It measures 6.5-inches around plus a 1-inch opening. It is made with a heavier gauge wire and slightly larger stones than my original cuff bracelet. It is all around a bit more substantial. The last photo shows the 2 different sizes of cuffs.
***Carnelian is associated with the 1st and 2nd chakras and is considered a grounding stone. It is also a stone of courage and confidence and is thought to help with procrastination and with a fear of taking action. Carnelian was the original birthstone for August and was often used in signet rings by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. A type of chalcedony, it is found in India, Brazil and Uruguay and ranges in color from pale orange to a deep red-orange and brown.***
***Lepidolite in quartz is clear quartz full of the colorful, confetti-like inclusions which range from a deep red to a bright orange and appear to 'float' throughout the stone. Found in Russia and Brazil, lepidolite in quartz is thought to activate the heart chakra. It is believed to encourage positive bonds to form and help the wearer to enjoy every moment.***
