Asymmetrical Boulder Opal Ring in Sterling Silver
Asymmetrical Boulder Opal Ring in Sterling Silver
An unusual, asymmetrically cut boulder opal is set in a simple sterling silver ring for a fun statement ring. This stone is half lavender blue and half a subtle purple over ironstone and measures 20 x 25 mm at its widest points. It is set in a tall silver bezel with a heavy 6 mm sterling band. A definite one of a kind ring!
***Boulder opal is found in the desert of Queensland, Australia. It forms in cracks or as a coating on the surface of sandstone or ironstone. It is thought to assist in emotional and mental balance and can help alleviate depression. Opal is believed to channel a protective energy and can benefit all chakras. It is one of the birthstones for October.***
Currently a size 7, this ring can only be stretched up to a 7.5 or 7.75. It cannot be sized down.
