Arizona Turquoise Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
Arizona Turquoise Ring in 18k Gold and Sterling Silver
An unusual piece of turquoise from here in Arizona is cut into an oval that measures a little over 12 x 16 mm. The color of this stone is unusual - it's a rich turquoise blue-green mixed with a brown and caramel! An earthy stone with subtle mottling, I think it looks especially nice with tan, khaki and olive - and of course cream and white! Set in an 18k yellow gold bezel atop a wide sterling silver band, this ring is very comfortable to wear.
***Turquoise was one of the first gems to be mined. It gets its blue color from a combination of copper and aluminum. Turquoise is an alternate birthstone for December. Associated with the throat chakra, turquoise has long been considered a protective stone by many different cultures.***
Currently a size 7.5, I'll be happy to size this ring up or down to fit. :O)
Made with a stone from the Southwest in my studio in the Sonoran Desert. xo
